Default Rattly Heat sheild, how did you cure yours?

The heat sheild on my manifold is driving me mad and make the car sounds like a hamster wheel, i beleive this is quite a common problem but how did you resolve yours?
I've tried tightening the bolts but still no luck, i was crudely thinking tieing it in place with some wire, any ideas?

I used wire cable ties, for about 6 months till the noise returned. So then i got out my Dremmel and cut away the sheild, where it was loose.

No problems since.

Wire cable ties? where do you get these?
When you cut the sheild away did you notice any differance apart from no noise.

Last time I had this, some of the spot welds on teh downpipe had gone; so I drilled them and riveted them instead

Just make sure its not a cat breaking up internally. They can sound similar.
