As of this morning the zorst doesn't bang, the engine fires up quieter and there is a little less urgency in the acceleration (although it's still there). It has pissed down overnight and the car has always had a tendency to be lumpy in the wet, but this seems slightly different. It still burbles away but there are no bangs on changing gear...

Any ideas people?

 

Could be a MAF problem,

Maf doesn't see as much air, so doesn't give enough fuel, so doesn't run rich, so doesn't pop and bang

What car and any modifications?

 

I had a similar thing and I did a fault check and it was my knock sensor. Replaced it and she running like a dream again

Full stainless (Ninja sports cat, Ninja decat centre, Afterburner Vortex), Bailey DV, Green Cotton panel filter)

I have the fault codes and last time I had her in the garage I watched as my mechanic read the code and I understood how to read it too lol

 

What fault codes have you got?

 

Dunno yet lol - car going into garage on Monday (I can read the codes when connected but haven't gone through the hook up process myself yet)
