Arrow ULTIMA GTR

Had a look around in one of these on the weekend - my girlfriends cousin has been building it over the last 2 years.

The kit is supplied in stages and once a stage is complete Ultima collect the car from you and check your work is correct before the next stage - brilliant service I thought as it also saves on storage space problems.

His looks exactly the same as below but he's also fitted a crank driven supercharger on the top of his 6.7 litre chevy block (and the car weighs less than 900kg!) This is the ultimate toy and it's completely road legal - I was amazed..

He's taking me out in it within the next few months - can't wait!

I remember paxing around Castle Combe in one of them on a "pay for 3 laps" kit car day. I went in the Rover 3.5 powered one, my mate was in the 350cc powered. pretty breathtaking. Gorgeous cars, but not cheap for a kit, I think?

EDIT - PMSL , why did no-one notice this? I meant my mate was in the 350 cu in powered....

A guy in Leeds had one built, was a reworked engine... 6.8ltr twin turbo, good for 1200bhp!! Think it was damaged in a fire at his garage though

What a stunning piece of engineering.
I saw one of these at my local petrol station - asked the owner about it and he was really chuffed that someone actually knew what it was!

Thing is with these they are soooo light with monster power 600bhp is easily achievable.

Macca F1 performance for less than 100k - yes please

They had one in the pit garages at Castle combe on Saturday. Looked amazing but how safe in a crash would you be in one?
