Default Powerflow Vs Prodrive

Just got the scooby back from the garage and the bill came to far less than i had originally thought so now i have a wedge of cash sitting in my back pocket smouldering away waiting to be spent.

I'm considering getting a new exaust but am well confused / torn between two options. Powerflow custom made Cat-back or Prodrive Cat-back?

With it only being a GX i'm not going to be getting any power gain, this is purely for looks and sound.

Can anyone lend any experiance or information to sway my decision either way??? What would you do!?

I'm looking to get some noise increase but not too much if this helps. . .

I've not used either but I'd go for decent (might be medium to high costs though) aftermarket stuff as I "think" prodrive setup still limits flow a little to keep noise down to a level acceptable to most. I've not heard or seen any big horses scoobs with prodrive systems...I could be wrong though, like I've said, I've never used Prodrive kit.

I'm glad I went aftermarket as although I didn't intend to go for big power, I did as time went on and would of found 2.5" exhaust systems an issue and would of had to "upgrade" again.

353 bhp with a new age ppp box here... probably doesn't count as big bhp though, but still

Think more for the future chap...maybe 350 now, but who knows what it could be next - that's why I ended up buying 850 cc injectors although the 5 mile a gallon is a killer but warp speed is mint!

yeah, know where you're coming from on that one... Unfortunately I'm almost maxed out with all my components at the moment, so I'm unlikely to take it much further for now anyway... gonna get some suspension mods at some point if the wife lets me

Imprezive_52: we used to have a TSL Firestorm that I found way too loud after a while... for us the PPP box with decat centre is just the right noise level, but then we're almost knocking on 30
