Default turbo timer

hi there can anybody help me i have just fitted a turbo timer to 95 scoob the timer counts up like it is supposed to but when i turn the ignition off the car turns off instead of running for a bit and then switching off any ideas as to what i might have done wrong cheers shaun

some have a wire to connect the handbrake swith... if it doesnt detect the handbrake is on it will switch itself off, this is incase someone jumps in and trys to drive off. The handbrake switch wire is only a thin one so should be easily identified.
