I've just been informed that on sunday 17th
(our day) in skipton they are holding a
medievil day and totally shut down the centre
Now what I'm going to do is try and find a new meet up point in the area.
If anyone has any ideas on suitable meet up
locations please let us know.

Try the industrial estate at Clitheroe Cattle Market, out of the town center easy to find and great road up to Skipton.

Little chef just on the roundabout after the Skipton by-pass. Easy access to any of the roads from there - and you can have a cuppa before hand

Tehy'll wonder whats going on as 2 weeks ago they had about 8 evo's a skyline and 2 porsches turn up for the LTR's EVO run.

Why not meet up at the thatch and thistle pub car park at the end of padiham by pass barrowford,its a decent size car park and thell be no cars on there till 12am.From there we could head out on two good routes towards skipton, either blacko, gisburn, long preston way. Or the skipton old road both of which are great runs up there and i dont think thell be many bikes around at this time of year???(Too many police scoobs on skippy by pass especially if they read this!)

 

To be honest we don't want the Leeds/Bradford
people having to go back up the same road
they've come down to meet.
Looking at the map, ADDINGHAM looks a middle'ish meet up point, and it cuts out Skippy altogether. Apparently there is a
TRAVEL LODGE near Skippy, does anyone know
exactly, and if OK for the meeting point?

Looked at possible meet up points and the
best one would be Little Chef. It's too late
to be looking into alternative driving routes
and it'll put us on the right side of Skippy!
So Little Chef(A59 outside Skipton) 1030'ish start, I'll be there from 1000(with full english )

 

I'd get there early if you want nosh. The other week it was a 30 minute wait for food.

Rum I can count the pop rivets in the aircraft wings were I live, great for airport parking though. Now theirs an idea, Scooby net airport parking.
