buzzing sound when door opens any ideas
Yeah Adrians on the money there.
As the barrel wears though u can get it to stop by wiggling the key (technical term
) Think downward stops it. It`s to remind u that u`ve left ur keys in the ignition when getting out the car.

Pete,
LOL u r the man, i`d 4got the "keep it simple" approach (duh > me)
Where is the sounder? Is the connector reachable from under the dash, if so can u remember what colour the cables were or what the connector looks like (2pin, 3pin etc)?
Cheers

I've got a 95WRX and within a few weeks of having it I was really fed up with that buzzer. In the end I stopped it by cutting a wire. On the top of the ignition barrel there is a white wire (if think!) which is plugged onto the barrel. Some people have managed to unplug it, which is probably the best move, but as I couldn't get it off I just cut the wire. I have had no side effects from doing this and I know others have done it. Give it a go!
Sorry I can't be more specific, I did it a year ago and have a bad memory!
It's a pity the search facility isn't working, this has been covered a couple of times before, with pictures!
