Question

Some time ago (november i think) Mike Wood posted a thread saying that Prodrive would be releasing a set of what i think he called "Hella" driving lights that replaced the fog lights on the MY01. They were supposed to be £199 inc vat and available at dealers shortly. !!!!

As is usual in the great IM/Prodrive relationship , my dealer has no idea what im on about and never heard of the part!!!

Has anyone seen or heard abouth these lights since.

Can Mike Wood comment? Part no Mike???

Thanks

Jza

Can't help you with a part number but I've seen them advertised at Bell+Colvill for £285.00 inc fitting. They aren't advertised as Hella, only as 'Prodrive driving light conversion'.

Cheers

Nathan.

A bulletin went to every Subaru Dealer on 3 December 2001, telling them all about the new driving lamp kit.

The part number is SACC2542 and it includes Hella Rallye 1000FF lamps, not the Comet lamps. These are fitted with 100W bulbs and the kit comes with all the brakets, wiring and instructions needed to fit the lamps.

There is also a Gas Discharge version which are absolutely awesome but unfortunately quite a bit more expensive!

Regards

Mike

Hella 1000 Xenons (gas discharge) have been available for two years now from Scoobysport. £620+vat

Clear protectors for both types of Hella 1000 lamps are £24+vat a set. These lenses are not very stone resistant.
