Castor blocks / ALK question
Had castor blocks fitted a while ago and great mod but just a bit of a question.
On full lock when stopped (so I can have a look) the inner wheel really leans into the corner but the outer wheel seems to be pretty straight.
I presume this changes when the car rolls, so the outer wheel leans more into the corner the more tha car rolls.
Or is there a way of fitting them the wrong way round
How does it look on other peoples cars with this mod? I have a UK Classic by the way.
Cheers

Not sure if I can visulise your description properly.
Say you turn the steering to full lock to the right.
The NS front wheel should look as if the top of the tyre is well into the wheel arch and the OS front about upright or with the wheel top coming out of the top of the arch a very small amount.
Imagine now you have the lock on and you are taking a right hand tight bend. This will make the body roll and in doing so the suspension /wheels move such that the NS front is now at 90 deg to the road, and the OS front much the same, ie the tyres have maximum contact to the road surface.

Thanks 911
If turning right the NS wheel (outside in my description)doesn't seem to 'lean' into the corner as much as the off side wheel. (inside)
However I parked with 2 wheels on the kerb last night and it looks more like I expected when I simulate roll, however it's not as much as I thought - but I presume changing that means a lot of suspension work.
I need to stop worryig and just enjoy it

No, you can never really enjoy the car if there is a doubt in the mind.
Get the car to a good specialist ie Powerstation and have the car sorted. THEN you can give it a good thrashing! (with confidence/safety)
