How loud is the original STi back box? I've got some unknown make on my wagon at the moment and it's too loud for me...plus I've got a baby on the way.

If it's a reasonably quiet box and will fit a MY99 Wagon I'll take it...any pics?

How would £40 delivered sound?

It's quite loud...especially under load. At cruising speeds it's not too bad but when you put your foot down it is very recognisable and turns heads.

I'd probably say it's louder than a Nur Spec but not quite as loud as some of the 4" jap style boxes found on these cars. I think it's a 3" tail pipe with a rolled lip. Looks in good condition to be honest and if I can get hold of a slightly quieter box it will be for sale soon if you're intersted.

No probs...if I get it swapped over quickly I'll drop you a PM once it's up for sale.

Dave, am still interested if you can get back to me.

Its very quiet. £40 would not quite be enough and postage would be quite alot.

Where are you based?

What sort of price would you be looking for in total?

LOL...ok, I'd need the postage as I'm based up near Manchester.

I'm just looking into another couple of options so will let you know over the weekend. If it sells before, then I've missed my chance.
