Default 2003 WRX - 340 BHP

As advertised on PistonHeads... Subaru : 2003 WRX UK 340BHP - STI Spec

Here we go!

I'm selling my beloved 2003 WRX UK Impreza as I need the cash for a deposit on my first house.

The car started off as a 2003 WRX which I purchased for 14K. I've since spent another 16K on the car in only 18 months!!

The mileage on the car is actually 61,000 but the engine has only done 8,000, with all the suspension, brakes, bushes, gearbox etc being replaced in the last 4 months. The car is virtually brand new!

Here's the spec:

Engine - Installed 8K miles ago by Scooby Clinic, Oil changed every 3K with Silkolene Pro S

STI V8 Bottom End
VF34 Roller Bearing Turbo - Quick Spool
Injectors, STI Pinks 550CC
Walbro Fuel Pump
Oil, Fluids, Cambelt etc
ECUTEK Remap
STI Cams, P1 Heads, STI Valves
Baffled Sump
STI Top Mount Intercooler
Up-Pipe
Down-Pipe
Lightened Flywheel
STI intercooler
K&N Typhoon Induction Kit (yet to be fitted)

This engine was built for slightly over 400BHP in mind, to achieve that, you only need a bigger turbo and a remap which will cost around £1200... I was running the engine in on the VF34.

Clutch – Installed 3K miles ago by HDC Subaru

AP Racing Organic – Judderless clutch!

Gearbox – Installed 5k miles ago by API Engines

PPG Straight Cut – 5 speed Synchromesh 4 Gear Set – 5th remains standard for motorway driving

More info on the gearbox here: Pfitzner Performance Gearbox

Exhaust

3" Straight through, decatted, 4" exit

Here's a video: www.mikeyb.co.uk/scooby/Scooby_Lau

Interior

STI Steering Wheel – fitted 5K miles ago

£2,600 worth of JL Audio speakers, amplifiers etc all included for an extra £1,000 on the price... otherwise I will strip it out.

The car is cleaned weekly and is used as my full time car, it's polished every 2 months in Swissols Carnauba Wax which costs over £120. I'm a petrol head through and through and my passion is cars!!

Strictly no test pilots, or tyre kickers, don't waste my time please!

I have all the receipts for every item of work carried out, and the car is also fitted with a tracker and has the disc lock which fits entirely around the steering wheel.

Also, the car has 12 months MOT & Road Tax, and comes with the original AA inspection which I took out when I first bought the vehicle.

And just to note, I'm 27, 3 points, 6 year no claims and I only pay £800 fully comp with Greenlight Insurance with every mod listed.

£14k

Just wondering, would it be financially beneficial if I swap the PPG box for a standard 5 speed and sell that seperately?

Dropped the price to 14K....

Do you think that's resonable?
