Hi, I think my turbo is on its way out and need a bit of help deciding which turbo to buy next.

the only limitations I have is that I dont want to have to start upgrading injectors, or having remaps etc. just after a good upgrade on standard without to much fuss

I have a MY00 impreza GT

with:

Full HKS Ti Hi power exhaust
Greddy Profec A boost controller
Bailey Dump Valve
Upgraded Panel filter too.

but thats it. really.

 

hi you just better off just replacing with a oe turbo if you not planing on upgrading anything else mate

 

Could I use for instance a td05 instead, with no greater increase in boost pressure?

 

if you was to upgrade to a tdo5 you would need supporting mods a new fuel pump poss injectors and a remap was you after more bhp?
