sensor for knock link. Where to fit it
I have just installed a knocklink to my car. Is a MY96 Euro turbo, completely stock but 3" full decatted exhaust.
I fitted above the intake manifold, as in this picture (I found it in this forum)

Is it a good place for it? I only get the first light to light up when reaching the rev limiter. Otherwise no problem at all.
Hitting with a spanner in the intake manifold will light up more lights.
Anyway, can I leave it there, or should I fit it lower in the engine bay? If so, where exactly?

it would be better on the block.. if you look under the intercooler where the gearbox and engine meet there is two threaded bolt holes.. one each side.

It is easier to remove the intercooler, then fit the sensor. Its not too difficult to do, a little tricky reconnecting the hoses.
Once removed you should see the threaded hole on the right hand side of the block (when looking from the front).
