Help!! Different cylinderhead fittings?
I'm in the process of swapping all ancilliaries from my previous engine (which had a bottom end failure) to a new EJ20 unit and I've noticed an annoying difference between the two that's preventing me from getting the exhaust fitted.

The small pipes (circled) are a different configuration, and there's no reference for removing them in the manual, can anyone help?????
Obviously removing the 17mm bolt and 10mm mounting bracket isn't a problem, but how is the top pipe attached? Push fit? How do I swap them over, so that I can get the exhaust on without fouling the pipework???? Argh!!!!! It's driving me nuts!!!!

Solved.
For future reference (in case someone has the same problem) the pipe is a push fit that can be persuaded out
by rotating the pipe whilst levering it out with a wide bar (so as not to damage the head). Replace with thread seal compound (probably... I'll tell you if it leaks).
Ciao.
