Default Sti RA V-limited engine ?

Will an Sti RA V-limited engine fit into my early '96 wrx ?

I've been told it is the closed deck block and has the 5th injector. Will my Apexi power fc run the 5th injector etc ?

IIRC the 5th injector doesn't actually do a lot. Read it off of one of andy f's posts.

Can I run it without the 5th injector then ?

Is this engine regarded as one of the 'stronger' engines ?

5th injector is just for show.. you can run that engine yes.. assuming it is of same vintage.

The engine is at Grade A Subaru,i'm not sure what year it's from but they say it will fit '92-'96.

How strong is this engine ? I'm just trying to work out if this option is going to be cheaper than having my engine rebuilt but don't want it going pop straight away !

the 5th injector was only on the early RA so it should be a straight fit and therefore 93~96 engine.

The heads are nicer, could / should be a closed deck block but may not be.. little bit of a variable..

if it is 100% okay then it is fairly strong yes.. but obviously it is used..

Grade A say it is a closed deck block

Have you had any experience of Grade A ? What kind of reputation do they have ?
