After looking on the back of the manual (you know the one!! that was last updated in 1999!!) that comes as standard with the Apexi AVC-R I noticed in the revision record on the back page that there is an update version - 2nd Edition- issued on the 1st April 2005 (why they don't just include this manual I'll never know )

Anyway,,,does anyway have a copy or know where to source one?

I've tried Apexi USA and even had a stab at the Jap site, you can imagine what help that was (why they bother with the odd heading in English again I'll never know!!)

why do you need it?

Just use the one that came with the AVCR.

 

'Cos my car wasn't around in 1999, was born in 2004 so has a 5 plug ECU

 

iirc, the manual is still correct regardles what year car you have. What you need is the correct pin-out wiring diagram for the plugs going to the ECU i.e the black wire from the AVCR will still need to go to a grounded ecu wire, regardless of wether its a subaru impreza or toyota celica.
