back from my jollies with the wife and kids,07 sti loaded to the roof,trailer hitched up. got down to the dordogne and back no probs.just some useless trivia too impart with you all. scoobs are like hens teeth in france and get alot of looks,especially ones towing a trailer.total milage was about 2000 miles,most of that taken up by the fact its 800 miles each way from where i live in cheshire.return trip took 19 hours only stopping for toilet and fuel and of course the ferry.i averaged about 300 mile to a tank cruising at about 80 sometimes a bit more.the difference in performance between mega hot france and cold,damp blighty is very noticable,well it surprised me anyway. off to bed now cos im knackered

i dont feel i have to post a reply to everything i read on forums.i dont bother replying to the ....i raced a ..... or i beat him away from the lights but.... type of thread. may be im just becomeing a grumpy git
