Default Exedy clutch

I was under the impression that the clutch used in the GF8 models were the same for all years, but looking at camskills homepage there are two different options depending on the build year?

EXEDY RACING CLUTCH PARTS - Subaru Impreza Turbo Parts, Tuning, Spares & Accessories - Gearbox - Fast Road Clutch Kits excl Flywheel -

Can anybody help me clear this out? What do I need for my 1995 GF8 Impreza Turbo with 320 BHP? Also where is the best place to buy?

Thanks in advance

Rasmus

I believe there were 2 different sizes, only mm in them though and they all fit any 5 speed box.

I went through this dilema many moons ago and this was the advice given by the mechanic at the time. Go for the later ones because they are slightly bigger.

Chat to David at Welcome to the API website
He supplies all the types and now has an organic 500 bhp (? torque) version for sale.

Thumbs up

225mm vs 230mm

go for the bigger one as it will fit any 5 speed and is slightly bigger so therefore is better
