Default Clutch adjustment??

Is there anyway to adjust the biting point of the clutch?? I've done some searching but cant find anything. I've got a MY99 Impreza turbo and recently had a new cltch fitted. Now the biting point is on the floor and sometimes its hard to engage gears and I really have to bury the pedal into the carpet. Is there anyway to raise it?? Thanks, Shane.

Just been thinking, would air in the system cause this?? As somtimes the biting point is really close to the floor and other times you do have to try and push it through the floor.
