Boost gauge not working

Default Boost gauge not working

Hi can some one help i have just fitted a digital boost gauge to my sooby and it is not working properly when my engine is of it reads 0 but when i turn my engine on it gos up to 64.4 and the warning light is on and when i rev it gos down can some one help and tell me y thanks

when engine is ticking over it should be reading vacuum (ie negative) if it is able to do vacuum. Can you tell us what model and where you have connected it to ? I've never fitted digital, has it got a hose leading into the gauge, or a remote electric sender and just wires into the gauge from the sender. If its a sender then it sounds like its shorting out.

It is a remote electric sender and just wires coming from the gauge.I have the live connected to the ignition live and it dos have vacuum.The model is a race x thanks
