I am considering to install fog light into the front bumper of MY96, but the dealer quoted a high price for the factory fog light.

Does the standard models come from Hella fits into the MY96 front bumper (where the fog light covers sit)? If yes, which model should I buy?

 

Hella Comet 500s will fit in place of the existing fogs on a MY98. You then need to drill a hole for the mounting bolt which comes with the Hella, and also make up some sort of adjuster/stabiliser bracket at the top so as they don't vibrate. Mine are rock steady and I've had no bulb failures which others have reported. There was a thread about this at the beginning of the year with proper fitting instructions.

You can use the same brackets as the PIAA supplied by dealers. Graham Goode sells them for £20 a pair I think.
