anyone no why whenever i press the clutch down it makes a whirry sound,a few weeks ago it would n`t go in any gear,so i turned engine off ,put it in 1st then started it,then it slightly edged forward, its a 1999 uk turbo by the way,any ideas?thanks

 

Sounds like clutch bearing are going...only makes a noise when the clutch is in or down...

Mates vectra did it, and 2 weeks later he had to buy a new clutch set...get it checked asap.
