Default Gearbox- HELP PLEASE

Hey

Not sure if anything to worry about but recently when I am trying to select 1st gear either when first moving off or when coming up to a junction sometimes it does not go in properly. I have to lift the clutch back up and then puch back down again. Usually only need to do this once but sometimes several times before it actually goes into gear.

Today, the gear stick was stuck in third. Happened three times in the space of about half an hour. Had to stop at side of the road each time.

Anyone experienced this before?

Why is this happening ? Any ideas ?

Thanks

Chris

yeah it does ah.

New gear box it looks like for me then.

What is roughly the price for a new gear box and cost of labour to fit?

You can get your Synchros done, don`t get rushing into a new gearbox fella.. get yourself to a tuner and get it checked first anyway..

Calum at checkpoint in Arbroath is your man.

I wouldn't take another car to AWD and aberdeen is a bit far to travel
