Granted that ive used the search facility i couldnt find what i was looking for and i just wanted some advice...its my first subaru and never had a car over 200 bhp let alone 300bhp.

Well driving the car, i cant but help notice that the gearbox is a little strange when comparing to changing in "normal" cars, the smoothness doesnt seem to be there.more noticable in 1st and 2nd then the other four gears..

Can someone just put my mind at rest and say this is normal..ive a 55 plate sti with PPP.
