Default New Brake Pads

New front pads required for 55 wrx. (14,000miles) Christ must be hard on the pedal

Anyway was pricing standard pads from dealer (£140 fitted)

Can get Black Diamond Fast Track pads fitted for £140 at a nearby garage.

1. Are these pads any good?
2. Is there a chance these pads could warp my discs?
3. Any other suggestions?

P.S

New baby due in 13 days so "brembo swap" or any other high dollar replacements wouldn't go down well with the other half .

Cheers

Neil

You can get OMP fast road pads off ebay for about £30 and they are as good as the subaru ones.

I got some EBC Redstuff front pads for my STI about 88.00 + delivery from Scoobyworld.

No doubt others will be on soon saying the best are.............................

but from my experience the Redstuff are slightly better than standard under normal conditions, and brake fade is almost eradicated under heavy load.
