Anyone else had probs with Firestones
When I bought the Scoob there were Firestones fitted on all corners(15").
As they wore out I replaced the front 2 but the back are still Firestones. This has got to be the worst gripping tyre I've known. 3 times I've lost the backend of the scoob in the wet. This is not doing 80+ but turning into drives, road ends etc. Still tread on them but will have to change them before I cause damage. Any suggestions of brands. Don't want to spend over £100 per corner though.

Got 15" Firehawks on mine. Graham at TSL refered to these as strictly agricultural after taking it out for a spin, which is quite good cos they were fitted by the dealer:
Chandlers Subaru and Farm Equipment, outside Grantham.
Never had the back-end break on me but maybe we have different driving styles - I tended to suffer greatly from understeer which has cleared up to the point of tolerable after TSL sorted out the geometry.
As for which brand - blimey - read all the threads here, the choice is obvious, but if ya whanna play you'll hafta pay!
