I have been looking at a couple of Bugeye STis (UK Cars).

Had a couple of insurance quotes and there is a massive difference for me between a 'Prodrive Style' and a normal Type UK.

what exactly is the difference between the two? I'm a tad confused....

 

Only cosmetic, different skirts, front bumper, high rear spoiler and different instrument dials (I think). I would not have thought there would be a massive insurance premium difference though.

 

£600 difference for me on Quoteline Direct and Bell!

 

That looks to me like like they are charging you for a Prodrive Performance Pack, and not a Prodrive Sti.
As stated above the Prodrive version is only cosmetic.
