Just got quoted 170.17 each corner for Bridgestone S03 Pole Position's.
Is this around the correct price ?
Thanks.
Andy.

Sounds expensive - what size/what quantity?

I paid £130 ish for 225/40x18 a while back.

WOW - after six months of procrastination, you now have the wheels AND the tyres - they might even be on the car by Easter hehehe

Sorry for no replying earlier...

205 50 16's.

Quantity was 4 but have also telephoned around & got down to 177.17 each corner (all in).

I am now pondering on buying some anthracite (gun metal I think) 17's as I am going to needs tyres anyway very soon.

What do you guys reckon on 17's with S03's ?

Thanks.
Andy.

Tarmac - I paid less than £130 all in for S03s per corner on 17in wheels - you should be less than £110-115 for 16ins, unless you they have gone up a hell of a lot in the last few months!

Also consider S02s - they don't ride quite so well, but IMHO they are technically a better tyre than the S03. Purely IMO experience of course.

Hmm if they are S-03 Pole Positions these wont be the same tyre as the S-03 released a few months ago ! may explain the price difference ! they did this with S-02 and S-02 PP as well !

Ian
AFAIK the S03 came straight out in the PP version - mine went on last June, and are PP's

Thumbs up

yeah, unless they've done a *special for the UK* jobbie, the S-03s are by default S-03PPs.

I'm getting a set of SO3s (205/50 R16). Best price so far is Micheldever Tyres near Winchester £95.70 all in. They are on 01962 774437 or see http://www.micheldever.co.uk/

I know someone who has just paid about £70 a corner for 205/50/16 SO3's. He had to fit them himself.

Ian,

I bought mine the first week they were in the country, SO3 PPs, just like Dave T-S, we even had a lively debate over their characteristics

So I am not sure what you are on about - can you enlighten us?
