Default places to get gearbox rebuild

where is the best place to get my gearbox done.im in the north west .

Not really North West, but how about Scooby clinic?? and if you CAN travel API in Warickshire are very good......

TEG SPORT in Carnforth... off junc 35 ( might be 1 junc off??? ) on M6...
Rebuilt my old MY00 UK Turbo box with good 2nd hand bits... drove like new again... all repaired for £350 quid... I had the box took off and took it up to them...

Try Rally Colin, down south, erm off the A34??

Search on here for rally colin, an ex subaru WRC team engineer ( Steve ) doesthe 'boxes, and reasonable prices, box off, rebuilt, refited in a day.

NO NO NO NO NO

They rebuilt the gearbox in my rally car a few weeks ago and it lasted 15 miles before starting to jump out of 3rd and 4th gear. At 20 miles reverse gear disappeared as well.

my front diff is very noisey and i get occasional 2nd and 3rd gear synchro problems, looks like i need a rebuild too, anyone know how much it would cost if i were to take the box off myself, its a 93 wrx...

My gearbox was spot on... the new owner gives the car some stick and its still like new... 2 years on...
