Facilities Question
As a 'family man' (...) what are the facilities like at Elvington ? I'm guessing that they're non-existant - i.e. portaloos, or the grass (!).
I know that the yorkshire air museum is close by, but can it be accessed from the scoobylive area - and does it have a decent eats/loos ?
Not very exciting I know, but.....

you are correct!porta loos galore
and the normal burger stands charging £3-4 for a half cooked bacon sarnie and £1.50 for a bottle of warm water well thats what last year was like
best thing to do is bring food/drink yourself and hope the kids dont get to messy
if its been dry it should be ok(lots of grass to walk on)apart from that a good day
