Default Couple of questions about 2006/07 STi's???

Been looking at 06/07 STi's(Hawkeye) and was wondering if the UK cars come with the DCCD controller as standard!! Also apart from the 2.5 engine and styling are there any other changes made from 05 STi...

After seeing pics of the new scooby hatchback in the paper today, the Hawkeyes dont look to bad now, and im starting to really like them, to be honest its like any new scooby that comes out, at first I dont like and then they start to grow on me(apart from the 08 styling which I doubt will ever)!!!!

DCCD is standard....2.5 engine is a different breed to the 2 litre its alot more torquey hence less need to change gear at lower speeds....ride is harder...apparently the wheels are different(studs different centers)...cute little spoiler on the rear window...headlamp washers....but it definetly looks more aggresive than the previous model

Does have diff control as standard . Have you see them up close, they look very nice. No real other difference really apart from engine which feels alot quicker. Doesnt rely so much on turbo, more torquey, less lag. You thinking of changin? Get test drive and see for yourself

UK STi Spec Differences:

A-DCCD is standard on all STi's MY05 onwards.
MY06/07 A-DCCD benefits from a tweaked Yaw Sensor to the MY05
MY05 has 2.0 litre engine (Loves to be rev'd and most rewarding when driven to about 200RPM of the redline)
MY06/07 has 2.5 litre engine (more power as standard (Torque and BHP) but generally has a lazier feeling to the 2.0 and most rewarding when shifting about 1k before redline)
MY05 onwards STi models use 114PCD wheels and a wider track over MY04 models.
MY05/06/07 share the same suspension setup.
MY06/07 benefits from HID Headlights as standard (and headlight washers as per law)
MY06/07 has a window spoiler to increase airflow through the rear wing and thus increase stability further at high speed.
MY05/06/07 Share same interior (MY06/07 have side airbags built into seats as standard causing a slight variation in seat design.)

I think thats about it... technically they are pretty much the same with the exception of the Engine which was changed to meet emmission laws within the UK. (hence why JDM still uses 2.0).
