Slight griding noise from rear disks.

Scoob in to have rear brake pads checked and/or changed Saturady morning.

Subaru Gatwick doing the job (closest dealer to me).

What sort of cost d'ya all reckon .. £100? .. £150? .. or more?

It's probably just the handbrake slighty sticking, but if not...

I've had all of my brake issues done under warranty. That's two sets of discs all round! If it's still under warranty it's worth a try.

standard rears should by around £60, from memory I paid £80 ish for DS2000 upgrade pads last time.

1/2 hour to fit @ £25 + vat, so £100 approx all in

(fitted my own rears last time, one side (with the wear indicator 3/4hr as I did not have a clue) the other side 15mins (once I knew what i was doing) (this included on/off of the wheel using the subaru jack as well )

cheers simon

Cheers

It's still under warranty till March 2002.

I don't mind paying for new pads, but if the disks are 'shot away' then I'll try the warranty claim approach.
