Default WRX Folding mirrors motor?

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the motor from a folding mirror on a classic WRX? . Or does anyone know the part number for it?

Yes it can be done, but its a pain.

you need to remove the glass, undo all the screws and then u will have the unit in ur hand, the motor is at the top of the unit.
BUT,make sure u dont upset the gearing as i did on mine and the way the mirros work is typically strange from japan, the switch is a constant live, the break in currennt comes from a plastic wheel in the gearing which has a copper strip in it with breaks in it, misalign this anad its hrs of frustrating pulling aprt/putting back together to get it right.

Oh,and trying to source a replacement is virtually impossible as the current it draws etc is different to most UK motors sold, i ibought annother scrap mirror and used this motor as it was cheapest and easiest in th eend to obtain.
