Default Adjusting avital alarm???

Can anyone advise me how to adjust the sensitivity of my alarm on classic my 99....it goes off everytime a lorry goes past of the wind picks up!!!!

depending on the avital model you need to get to the alarm brain and there will be a sensitivity adjustment that will allow you to turn the sensitivity up and down.

I have the certificate which states its a Maxx 1.....fitted by Directed electronics of Epsom if it helps....

sit in the car, close the doors and arm and disarm the alarm.

Where ever you hear the clicks, that are synchronised with the indicators, coming from is the location of the alarm brain.

Maxx 1 adjustments are on the side of the brain. I usually find that 1/4 - 1/2 is sufficient in a Subaru.
