yesterday i discovered a dent on my roof, about 4 spots of stone chip type marks with a dent/crease to match (looks like someone bit it) ...god knows how that got there, something must have fallen from the sky!!

anyway, do these dent master people do a decent job on roofs..has anyone had a roof fixed before..its usually the bonnet for chips eh!

i would imagine it would cost the earth to get the whole roof done would it not?

if anyone can recommend anyone near derby/notts/leicester, much appreciated

In the same boat mate. Stone hit mine yesterday and went with a right thud! Very tiny dent but going to go to a reputable body shop.....think you get what you pay for.

 

I had some mysterious scratches on my roof too. lOOked like whatever bit your car, tried sharpening it's claws on my roof.

Was having the bumper painted, so got the roof done too, cost £200 by a coachworks place. Excellent job!

 

£200 pound eh, was that the whole roof sprayed? that sounds not too bad.

 

Aye it was. Cash. As there was already some painting being done. Had the wing mirror done too, as a mysterious scratch was on there. £40.

Would've de-locked and painted boot for £70. But i got a no from er-ndoors.

 

I had a cricket ball size dent on the roof of my Celica before I got the Sub, luckily the paint wasn't damaged. I got a company called Dent Devils to mend it, first class job and after he was done you honestly wouldn't have known it had been there, and the best bit was it only cost 60 quid. As for the chips there is a company called Chipsaway that look after that side but i have never needed their services. Both companies operate under a franchise so look up your local phone book for your local repairer
