nearly every time i down the box it you can feel it as your trying to put it into first it's an 04 wrx and only done 26,000 miles. started doing it before xmas plz help

 

i used to have problems engaging 1st found selcting 3rd without releasing clutch then selecting 1st just as you are stopping seemed to help

i have since changed gearbox oil and give clutch a good bleed and all seems ok now,it is all due for change at 30000 miles anyway so might be worth doing it a bit early

as it is 04 does it have any warranty left?

 

thanks for the relpy will try that as for warranty i got thde car from subaru at durham and not got faith in them
