Is an IHI VF30 turbo standard for an import MY01 STI???

Just done a little work on my import MY01 STI and found that the turbo is an IHI VF30. Is this the standard turbo for a JDM STI???

If not, is the VF30 bigger than the original turbo meant for the car???

From: South Wales, Scoobless, Type R is gone!

Yes i beleive these were the standard turbo's on the early Newage STI's and RA's got the rollerbearing version of that turbo(VF34)
