Default Plz Help - Problems with Sti Spoiler

I replaced fitted an sti spoiler provided by DR-Motorsport onto my bugeye about 2yrs ago. It has 4 standard bolts (2 on each side). I drilled 2 more holes in the centre and used the optional bolts.

However the two bolts on the right hand side have become loose and now do not tighten. It will keep turning clockwise and stay loose. As a result water is leaking into the boot.

Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can either rethread the rod or
buy some super sticky mastic

I replaced the spoiler on my old UK300 with an STI replica one and it had captive nuts bonded/glued into the spoiler. Its sounds like the nuts have come unstuck from the spoiler allowing the nuts to spin when you try to tighten the stud and it wont be down tight on the boot lid letting the water in.Easiest thing to do is remove the spoiler and araldite/glue the nuts back into the spoiler.I also put a bead of silicone around each bolt hole on the boot lid when tightening it down just to make sure no waters going to get in.

what if i take out the two bolts....fill the holes with a strong filler and then screw the bolts back in and seal it up from the inside. If that makes sense.
