Exclamation Overfilled transmission oil?

The other day I was checking the various levels in my car and everything seemed fine other than the gearbox oil which seems to be overfilled by quite a bit!

As you can see from the dip stick it’s a fair bit over the ‘full’ dot! Should I be worried about this?? Is there any potential problems that could be caused by being at this level or should I not worry about it..

It was checked on a completely level surface and it was stone cold (in fact hadn’t been started for a good 3 days or so..) I checked it a few times just to make sure!

No probs. I run mine about 2 x 'higher' than that for 4 years.
Some even say you should as it 'covers' 3rd gear better, but in use there is so much oil splashing about everythings gets a saturation!
