Got an Exedy organic clutch fitted to my bugeye but after 1000miles of use (mainly motorway) the unit started to slip. Has anyone else experianced the same problem??

 

I did hear of someone through a friend of a friend who had the same problem. Is it the uprated "pink" clutch? I have just fitted one ot my car, and at first it did smell a lot, even just moving round the driveaway at virtually no revs. It does seem to have settled down now, but I have only put about 4-500 miles on it so far
