Default DCCD-A controller?

Where is the control unit located & what does it look like? Basically ive managed to get a box from a mangled STI9 from a local breaker but I need the controller & dont really know what im looking for. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I 'think' it is at the base of the steering column. For the dccdA there are a skip-load of sensors (anti Yaw etc I've read) that you need to get it to work properly.
I stress this is based on what I've read only.

There could be a better way out for you!

go to:
Product and take a look at their controller. A whole lot easier to cope with. Email Andy there who will guide you.
The £ to $ is in your favour too!

They are about to market a demon advanced system soon, so ask about that.

Good luck!

What MY are you calling an STi9, I get confused....... I've got a CD for the 05 STi and it has a section on the DCCDA which implies the control box is behind the glovebox. But may not help as mines an 04 model with DCCD and I'm sure mine isn't there. But it may help, if useful send me a PM with your email and I can attach it.

Thanks for the help everyone, think Ive got everything I need now according to the plan diagram you sent chelspeed, although the control unit was actually at the base of the column on this model, just like you said 911. Now all I need is that bloomin' wiring diagram.

Thanks again.
