The std warranty lasts 3 yrs...How long is it for a Dutch import? I've heard its 2 years - is that true?

 

Its 1 year and its not exactly the same as the UK warrenty, eg Subaru Netherlands consider brakes as wear and tear items and will not replace the disc. I have been refused a replacement on my 8k miles and 7 month old warped brake disc on my import whereas UK's have been replaced within thier 3 year warranty up to approx 34k. I am also still fighting getting a 2 month old from new brake disc replaced due to corrosion. Subaru UK passed it for warranty replacement then found out it was an import and cancelled the payment to the garage. I am still waiting for a definite answer from Netherlands after 24 weeks.
