Has anyone else bought a 12 month card that when you try to register
comes up invalid code?

This cost me £40 and is really pissing me off!!

P.S Microsoft are useless at solving this problem.

mm is it the hotmail? account you are using is set as "united states".

the uk cards will not work with this, and as far as i could tell there is no way of sucessfully changing the country setting

i had to create a new hotmail account and use this (set to UK) to make the credit card entry work (as it was asking for a US postal addresss that the card was registered to).

 

I used my uk tiscali address.
Best thing is when you call microsoft they say the number is invalid on their system!!

Can you use a US paid card and Points? They are obviously much cheaper at the moment ...

No, they are region specific.
