Just found a car park with untouched snow!!! I have a V4 type R and have never moved the diff control more than 1 notch forward. However today I had it fully locked! How much fun!!
Wasnt a massive area so I cleared all the snow in about 20 mins.
Here's hoping for some more!!

I want DCCD
Surely if its fully locked you can't make tight turns? I locked it in a Type R I was testing and the wheels kept jumping due to locking the centre diff.
I would have fully open would be the best too.

wheels on the snow can slip so you won't bo loading the diff, just the way its meant to work
Im with ye mate, i spent a few hours out on monday night playing with the DCCD, all the way forward bar one and i was stormin up hills no worries, then i got back to my untouched cul-de-sac, put it right back and got some donuts on, its amazing the difference that wee gizmo makes, deffo not a bling thing, more functional awesomeness
