Just changed my Scoobysport BB for a Magnex BB as the Scoobysport was a bit too loud when transporting the nipper, the Magnex is a little bit quieter.

What difference will a Magnex Downpipe make with the Magnex BB, as I don't want things to get too loud.

Hence, I am also thinking of replacing the Magnex BB for a Prodrive BB.

 

Until recently I had a Scoobysport backbox and downpipe. I found that when I added the d`pipe it did get a fair bit louder. I have since replaced (reluctantly) the backbox with a Magnex unit to bring the noise level down a little. I reckon if you add the d`pipe it will bring the noise level pretty well back to what it was with just the Scoobysport b`box!
If anyone living reasonably close to Havering would like a dB reading on their set-up let me know as I have a dB meter!

Scott.T I have a Magnex BB & centre section on mine, was loud, then I got the Magnex DP it is louder(not much) but has a much deeper growl to it, sounds much nicer
IMHO the scoob with a DP & SS has to be one of the nicest sounds available...so GET_ONE_NOW

I added the Magnex DP to my aftermarket catless STI centre and backbox and it made it a bit louder and deeper. I then added a Magnex centre section and Backbox and its now even louder and deeper. It's really nice when you're having a blast but I think it will be tiring in long motorway stints. I have a 5dr and find it quite boomy in there now. I definately have to speak much louder to the rear seat passengers now!
