Now since I bought the car the power was always there..... although somewhat lumpy and unpredictable.

Did a few searches on here and saw that this can be caused by a clogged up boost solenoid,
and when some people mentioned that over filling the oil can be the primary culprit I thought bingo! When I bought the car the muppet mechanic had over filled by half a litre! MUPPET!

So off to local motor shop bought a can of Brake cleaner a bit of dismantling, connecting plugs, spraying, tinkering and then put everything where it should be.

Now I know these solenoids are supposed to be tappy but mine before was so muffled I had to hold my ear against it to hear it work!
After cleaning the tapping could be heard from the drivers seat!

And what a difference! The car is simply transformed.......

1. Boost comes on sooner.
2. Less laggy
3. the turbo kick is solid, smooth and predictable.
