Anyone got a centre section sports cat? Seeming they're not exactly cheap, just wondering whether they work - both 'free-flowing' and roadside/MOT-test-wise. I know that they say they do both, but...

I have one in my three inch bpm system. It cost me £33 more than specifying it without the cat so I went for it and replaced it in this country with a scoobymania centre section.

It did seem to work.

Gas analyser at power engineering said my emissions were actually very clean indeed.

Did need to remap after changing midsection, but then changed back box at same time from twister to scoobymania. Did run a touch leaner which suggests it is flowing better, but I dont know how much extra fuel was required because of back box and how much because of cat removal.

Back box was very restrictive befoer hand due to bung for keeping noise down. It was mapped for bung in not bung out which was perhaps a mistake, but then again I never ran bung out.

OK, I'm muddled now, but I get the idea that the mid-section cat works well anyway!
I think
