Default semi to full synth.

Hi all,
quick one,
At the moment I am using semi synthetic so is it ok to go to full synthetic on my next oil change.
Presently using 10W/40 and was thinking about going to something lower for winter, say 5w/40.Do you think it would be ok.
Ta!
Paul

Yup, fill 'er up with the good stuff

I can highly recommend Fuchs (the makers of Silkolene) Titan Supersyn SL 5W40, available at a superb price from your local Euro Car Parts (do a Yell.com search) for 86 quid for a 25 litre drum. That works out at 16 quid per 4.5l drop.

No problem to switch, a 5w-40 synthetic would have better cold flow for winter motoring.

Cheers
