fmic from flat 4 online,what car mods?

as stated,whos got one and what did you have to do to get it to fit ok

On a 97 sti 3, i had to trim the fan on the passenger side so the pipe would clear it and the back of the bumper needs trimming down too.

If your fitting it to a pre96 car then you will probably have to cut the pipe to the throttle body and rejoin using a piece of silicon hose(basically making it longer) and also the pipe to the turbo may need to be shortend(turbo end) to stop it fouling on the throttle body....thats the only mods i done to my 95wrx to make it fit as well as the usual bumper and front panel cutting

my mate has the same kit but an earler version i think its a couple of years old.sound the same fitting way,my lower pipe fouls my air con fan and the turbo outlet fouls the inlet and heater pipe and doesnt line up correctly

I removed the right hand fan because i had the same problem and like i said before the pipe to the turbo needs to be shortend because it will foul on the throttle body....i found that when that pipe was cut i couldnt use a straight piece of hose to join the pipe to the turbo so used a 45 elbow which worked perfectly

sounds like a plan,i also have clearance problems with the ns alu tube from the intercooler under the car and up to the inlet pipe the its not bent correctly around the chassis
