What is a closed deck block?
What does it mean when an engine is bluprinted?

Closed deck - Haven't a clue

Blu printed - I *think* it means it has be polished, ported, lightened and all tolerances taken to the maximum. (Safely)

I await to be corrected if that's BS.

closed deck means the walls of the cylinder are braced. Surrounding the cylinders is a water jacket. In an open deck block this is open all the ay round the complete circle of the cylinder. The closed deck is more like holes cut out of a solid block of metal.

It is stronger but supposedly is not as good for cooling.

blue printed is to my knowledge as explained above.

Tolerances checked and made sure that all machining is within these limits, and components matched for these tolerances.
